As you have found, Kaspersky disappears, though if you are running Kaspersky 2016 I guess it might do as it is only the earlier versions that are incompatible. In my sisters case I simply visited Kaspersky and upgraded to 2016, using the original activation code that she had (for Kaspersky 2012!) and it worked.
